A trip to Grandma's house

We drove up to Indiana to visit Mom over a long weekend. It was a long drive there and back but Jack gave us no trouble. Having a TV in the truck helped a lot! We all enjoyed the visit and going to the festival. This was the first time we've seen her new house. It's really nice and a bit bigger than her old house.

About half the trees had their fall colors on already. Indiana is always pretty this time of year.

One of the many bridges involved in the annual county wide covered bridge festival. There were several thousand people at this bridge. The county was expecting millions to attend this year. Dean took the time to do some geocaching while we were there. All the bridges in the area have caches placed near them.
Mom lives a block from the city park. She and I took Jack there for some afternoon fun.

We were all set to be overrun with trick-or-treaters here at the new place. We had the jack 0'lanterns out and a huge bowl of candy ready. Only about 6 kids showed up.

Defender of truth, justice and the American way! Jack looked great in his costume.
