GRADUATION

Sarah graduated with all A's this month. She's grown into quite a young lady the last couple of years. She's still working and is enrolled to go to Olympic College this fall. We're still trying to convince her to come with us when we move but I don't think she's ready for such a big change at this point in life. She's comfortable here and has tons of friends.

Angela and Jackson went to Georgia to visit her family and Grandmother, who's health is failing. She'll be coming back the first weekend in July only to turn around go back to report for her new job in South Carolina.
Jackson's going to stay with her parents and sister while we drive across country. Didn't seem fair to the little guy to make him sit in a car seat for 3000 miles. We're planning to take a northerly route and stop in and visit with Dean's Mom in Indiana before heading south. Dean is planning to stay with them in South Carolina for about three weeks while they get settled in the new place then he will be return to Washington for the rest of the summer or he finds a job, whichever comes first.

MOVING

That's right, we're heading for the low country. Shortly before Angela left on her trip she got a call asking if she would interview for a job in Beaufort, S.C.

She did the interview while she was at her parents place in Georgia and they hired her a few days later.

Beaufort looks to be a really nice little community. Not too big, not too small.

Her actual job is with the Marine Corps Recruit Depot on Parris Island.

We're all very excited about the job, the move, the new town. I think we'll like it there a lot more than we do here. The best part is we'll be less than three hours away from her family and eventually mine too, since my Mom plans to move to South Carolina also.

Laura in Concert

She's gotten quite good in the past year. This was her last concert at her current school. Next year she moves up to the Jr. High. Where's the time gone?
Piggy Back

Angela and Jackson came with me on one of my geocaching trips. We were at a historic cemetery in Seabeck that day.
Old Reliable

I've decided to sell the Mustang rather than try to take it cross country. I hate to see her go but it's to the point where I can buy a fully restored car for less than it would cost to restore this one.
