PROM NIGHT

|

Our plan was to stay in the house until Sarah graduated and we got jobs in the Southeast. Unfortunately the house sold much faster than anyone expected and we had to find another place to live on short notice. A quick search for apartments found that rent has risen unbelievably high in the last couple of years. It would cost us more for a small two bedroom than we were paying for the house.

We decided to take our friend Debi up on her offer to give us a place to stay until a job comes along. We called United and had them pack everything up and put it in storage until we're ready to head east. Sarah was going to come with us until she finds a place of her own but Debbie is allergic to cats. Between that and the limited room, it was mutually decided that she should move in with her Mom for a while. We think it's going to work out well for us and Jack here. She has a nice place and there's plenty of room for the three of us and our essentials - two bedrooms and a private bath.

Jackson's been keeping the street trimmed nice and short. He plays with his mower nearly every afternoon.
One plus of the chaos at work is that we now have the opportunity to learn and do new things. Angela is learning how to create and modify webpages and Dean is going to spend time building servers for a while then he also will get into web design. We don't know how long we'll be here or how long the jobs will last but at least we can make the most of what we've got left.
