As much as I loved the Explorer, it was beginning to have problems again so we decided to trade it in. Since we got the house, it seems like I've done nothing but haul stuff to the dump. You know how hard it is to cram tree limbs into an Explorer? We really needed a pickup but I hated the idea of not having enclosed space to put things in when it's raining. Viola! The Ridgeline has a trunk! The whole truck is wider and longer also so we don't feel so cramped anymore. I can't say enough good things about this vehicle. If you're in the market for a midsize truck, nothing compares to the Ridgeline.
Jackson got invited to his friend Anthony's birthday party. It was held at the Beaufort fun park. It was our first time there. They have an arcade and several outdoor activities like jumping gyms, putt-putt and go carts. It was wet and muddy that day but the kids had a great time.

Christmas morning was at our house again this year. Ang's folks and Sis came up for the big day.

Trains, trains and more trains. Jack got a big Thomas train set and another big expansion set. We could have not bought him anything else for Christmas and he'd still be happy. Oh, and guess what he got at Grandma's in Indiana? More trains!

We went to Angela's work Christmas party again this year. Jackson still won't go near that guy in the red suit.

Jackson and Angela made Christmas cookies several times this month. Since Jack seems to like making them better than eating them, I don't think we ever managed to eat them all!

We took a week long trip up to Indiana to visit Mom for New Years and birthdays. We got a mini-second Christmas out of the deal also. We got to see most of my cousins and do some shopping too. It was nice to get away for a while.
We took Jackson to the Children's Museum in Indianapolis. They have a big dinosaur exhibit going on right now. He had a blast!
