THANKSGIVING
We now have a house big enough to fully extend our dining table and Thanksgiving gave us an excuse load it up with good grub. Our friends the Aiena's joined us and brought a deep fried turkey.

PUPPY
Puppy Power

We've always talked about getting a puppy for Jackson when he turned three, but we decided he needed to come just a little bit earlier. We've considered several types of dogs, both big and small. I like both but really wanted a small dog. We wanted to get a pug, until we found out more about them and all the problems they have, not to mention the shedding problem. I did some searching for small, light shedding, non-smelly dogs and Boston Terriers were at the top of the list. He's a cute and cuddly little thing and we've named him Rico.

BOO BOO

Ow!

Jack got to make his first visit to the emergency room a couple of weeks ago. He slipped and fell out of his chair at the dinner table and smacked face first into the foot of the table leg. He had a lot of blood, bruises and six stitches to show for his experience.

CHRISTMAS

Around & around & ...

We had a great Christmas this year, the first in our new home. We decided it was time to "upgrade" our old tree. We got a new fold up kind with permanent lights and a motorized base. It's got over 1800 tips and 850 lights. It's the coolest tree I've ever seen.

Buzz!

Angela's family came for the holidays and we all had a great time. There were plenty of gifts to go around and everyone got something they'd been wanting. Jack made out like a bandit of course. In addition to the usual clothes and toys, he got a new trike, a wagon and a puppy!
