BIRTHDAYS
Birthday Boy

Jackson turned two and Angela got a year older this month. The weather was warm enough for us to have their party out on the patio. We invited Jack's friend Conner and his parents over to share the fun. All Jackson's Grandparents and his Aunt came too.

Jack had fun and got lots of presents. I bet he was wondering if those scary Mexicans would show up again this year.

OUTDOOR FUN
On the Farm

Dean took Sarah and Zander out geocaching on an old farm in Silverdale.

All Boy

Considering how much sand Jack brings home from daycare in his shoes and pockets each day, you'd think he would get tired of playing in the dirt. I guess digging holes in the back yard is too much fun to pass up.

TIME AWAY

Time ran out and Dean had to go back to Washington for a while. The job he was waiting on was given to someone who had been working in the position for the last few months.

The kids had no idea he was returning and they were beside themselves when he showed up at their door.

A lot has changed at his old job since the contractors took over. The organization has been restructured and the employees scattered to other positions. There isn't much work to be done at his old job so he'll likely end up being reassigned to something new.

He keeps watching the job websites for anything new but jobs in a specialized field like his are few and far between.

We figure we'll give it a couple of months and if nothing turns up, we'll decide where to go from there. In the meantime, the extra income is nice and his older kids are happy to have him around.
